  1. Wow, that's ace, congratulations! And what a way to celebrate, too... Hope you're using your best teapot.

  2. Thank you Sally.

I couldn't possibly use the best tea-pot. I have shaky hands today. When I have settled down though, I am going to have a tea-party. I might even treat myself to a cake-stand.

Don't let me get carried away...

  3. I can't tell you how chuffed I am for you. This is terrific news and thoroughly deserved.

    Congratulations, author.

  7. Caramelised biscuits with chocolate? CHOCOLATE? My gosh.
    What a way to celebrate.
Can I also point out this, maybe for your book's launch: http://timetravelopps.blogspot.com/2008/06/idea-for-jenn-ashworth-book-launch.html

  8. Congratulations!! Brilliant news. Those are my absolute favourite biscuits, too, though I go for the not-with-chocolate variety. Scrummy.

  9. The thing I liked best about those biscuits was the fact that they came in their own individual packets of three. If you look back to my 'plan' post last week, you'll see that three biscuits is the optimum number for a writing day. So I took three packets up the stairs with me to my desk. And when I opened the packets, it turned out I had NINE biscuits. That's fine though. It was a celebration day. And they really were ACE biscuits.

  10. Congrats many times over Jenn - when are you going to be taking over the Martin Harris Centre (with tea instead of wine?)

  11. Well done, Jenn, excellent work. I am drinking a nice cup of tea in celebration of your fine achievement :)

    Now that's a tea I haven't tried:-)

  13. Thank you all. Still very chuffed, and still drinking rare turkish delight tasting tea...

Nick: did we ever get wine in the Martin Harris centre? If I'd have known booze was on offer I would have worked a bit harder to arrange childcare.
